FSES presents: The Lion King Kids, May 8-9

Family and friends are invited to join us for Frances Slocum Elementary's performances of Lion King Kids!

About 50 of our students in grades two through four will be featured in this production, which features the classic Disney story of Simba and his friends Nala, Timon, and Pumba, and of course the beloved songs Hakuna Matata, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, and more. Come celebrate the circle of life in this timeless story of courage, friendship, and destiny.

Shows will start at 7 p.m. May 8, and 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on May 9. Run time is approximately half an hour.

For tickets, contact Courtney Etherington here.

“This has been an amazing experience for our students," said Etherington, who is one of the show's directors and a STEM interventionist here at FSES. "They are learning the art of theatre, practicing their reading skills, working on their memorization skills, and showing what incredible young people they are. They are working hard to put on an incredible performance. We are so proud of them.”
